HISTORY
Rosadex is a rose plantation established in 1993.
Presently, it encompasses 22 acres of land which produce a variety
of roses for exportation. The plantation is located in the lush
mountain valley of Cayambe, Ecuador. It is within minutes of the
line of the Equator and a convenient drive to the Capital city of
Quito. Cayambe is one of the world's best regions for growing roses
and provides for a superior product.

of roses.

FLOR DE ECUADOR
Is an Ecuadorian National Standard that increases competitiveness
of the flower companies with the implementation of improved practices
in its three main components: Social Responsibility, Environmental
Protection and Good Agricultural Practices.
BASC -Business Alliance for Secure Commerce:
Is an international business alliance, created to promote secure
international trade in cooperation with governments and international
organizations.
FLOWERS FOR KIDS
This program consists of a one hour hands-on interactive floral
experience and allows for a class of 4th to 6th graders to learn
about cut flowers, where they come from, how to care for them, and
how to make a bouquet. The class is designed for students, teachers,
administrators and parents.
RAIN FOREST ALLIANCE
Under the auspices of the Sustainable Agriculture Network (SAN),
an international coalition of leading conservation groups, the Rainforest
Alliance works with farmers to ensure compliance with the SAN standards
for protecting wildlife, wild lands, workers’ rights and local
communities.
